Truth Hunters is a Life Group that strives to find truth.  In John 18, Pilate asked Jesus “What is truth?”  This is an important question especially in our world today.  Jesus said in John 14:1 “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the father but by me.”  Notice that he did not say that He was a truth.  He said he was the truth.  There are six characteristics of Truth.  One, truth is discovered, not invented.  It exists whether or not anyone has knowledge of it.  Two, Truth crosses cultures.  If it is true, it is true for all people, in all places, and at all times.  Three, truth is unchanging regardless if our beliefs about truth change.  Four, beliefs cannot change a fact no matter how sincerely we hold those beliefs.  We could be sincerely wrong.  Five, truth is not impacted by the attitude of the one stating it.
