What's the Difference?
Life Groups are designed to help people grow spiritually through community. They focus on Bible study, prayer, fellowship, accountability, and building meaningful relationships in a small-group setting.
Ministry & Support Teams are designed to help people serve with purpose. These teams use their gifts and talents to meet needs, support the church's mission, and create environments where others can experience Jesus. While relationships naturally develop on these teams, their primary purpose is serving rather than small-group discipleship.
Simply put:
  • Life Groups = Grow together.
  • Ministry/Support Teams = Serve together.
Both are essential to a healthy church. We believe people are transformed by growing in community and serving on mission.

The CCMP Gardens Team is a hands-on ministry dedicated to growing fresh vegetables for our food pantry, providing flowers for church events, and creating opportunities for community connection through gardening workshops and workdays. Whether you have a green thumb or simply enjoy serving alongside others, the Gardens Team is a great place to build relationships, steward God's creation, and make a practical impact in our church and community. Community Cares Closet
Community Cares Closet is a needs-based ministry that serves foster, kinship, emergency placement, and at-risk families by providing clothing, baby equipment, gift cards, meals, and other essential resources. Our goal is to meet practical needs while sharing the love and hope of Christ with families during challenging seasons.

The Medical Emergency Care Team (MECT) at CCMP is based on the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10: 33-34 and looks beyond any divides to help others in need. One of our high priorities is to ensure the safety and security of all who enter the CCMP campus. At CCMP our MECT is a team of trained volunteers who provide immediate first aid and/or life-saving measures for conditions such as choking, hemorrhage control, anaphylaxis, seizures, cardiac arrest and stroke. All team members are certified in CPR and trained to respond, assess and stabilize individuals during worship services until professional emergency responders arrive. Our team consists of, but not limited to, doctors, PA's, NP's, RN's, EMT's, EMR's, AEMT's, Paramedics, Fire, law enforcement and trained laypersons who can utilize equipment like first aid kits, trauma kits, medical equipment, emergency supplies and AEDs.  
Faith Community Health Ministry (FCHM) at CCMP is based on John 10:10 -  "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (NKJV)
There is a is a powerful connection between the spiritual, mental, physical and social well-being of people, also known as Holistic Care. The FCHM at CCMP is a partnership with our pastors, staff, and congregation members who seek to assist the faith community into a place of healing. We believe that the spiritual health of a person is the center of their wellness and influences their entire well being. The FCHM nurse walks with people through the transitions of life and seeks to help them grow spiritually and instill hope in the midst of transition and change. The nurse also serves the community as a health educator, health counselor (supporter), facilitator & coordinator of volunteers and referral specialists. 
Because of the incredible generosity of Mr. Tony Thompson, our church family is blessed with free fresh bread every Sunday! 🍞
